[02 Jul 2005|05:26pm] I really really really hate my hair cut. It is too short & annoying & I am already sick of it. It's one of those haircuts that looks kinda cool, but since you can only do one thing to it, it sucks. I hate it so much that it is making me cry. Hopefully it grows fast so that I can have my hair like it was 2 days ago. I liked that haircut. This makes me want to give up on trying different styles. But then I realize that I am cool because I don't stick to one hair cut for forever. I shouldn't be upset about it because it is hair & it will grow out & I can make it look good eventually, but I look stupid. I am really close to cutting the rest of it off so it will just be really really short hair. I hate the way it looks from every angle. Maybe I will post some pictures later. I have never realized how much stuff/crap I own, & how I want to throw it all away. I am trying to get rid of so much stuff, but I am not being very succesful. When all my stuff is over at my new house, though, I am determined to throw away atleast half. I am not going to have internet for a while either, which blows, which also means I have will be at my parents a lot to use their internet. BUT, my new house is so cute & adorable & I can't wait to move in. It's a 2 bedroom, 1 study, 1 bathroom. I am most excited about the study which will serve as a computer/craft room. [18 May 2005|11:33am] Update! Update! I am Dunkin Donuts right now at an internet cafe. There is so much I have wanted to write in here but then I think that no one will care. It has taken me a few days to get adjusted to it here and realize that this is not 2 weeks in Europe like the past two times here. I am finally over my jetlag and feeling good. The first few days were shit because I was getting used to all the walking, eating different and barely any food, sleeping in a room with 5 other girls, sleeping in a bed ALONE with no kitties or Skot, not drinking regular water, etc. But it is amazing here and I am lucky I get to do this so I need to quit my bitching. I have seen so much fabulous stuff and not having to drive anywhere is nice. My handy got fixed today so that makes me happy because now people can call me and it won't cost me much money. Rachele got here 2 nights ago so it's nice having your best friend in a city like this. We have a completely free day today so I am just going to go around with her. I am seeing Star Wars tonight at Midnight which is 5 pm in Lubbock and it's weird that I will see it before a lot of my friends. George Lukas was in Potsdamer Platz yeterday and is supposed to be there today and that is where I am seeing it so maybe I will see him. I haven't bought postcards yet, but that is on the agenda for today and then I will write to your guys and send them out at sometime. I have uploaded my pictures onto one of the guys laptops here so when I find a wireless internet cafe I will send those to Skot who will upload them for me and then I will post them. The weather has been off and on with it being rainy one day then sunny the next, but it is still cold here. Colder than it should be. I am going to go to Prague in a few weeks and spend a few days there which will be fun. I am now on my mission to drink good beer and it is nice being able to buy some booze anywhere I choose. My german is coming together alright. I get really intimidated when I start speaking and a lot of people speak English so I have a nice mix of Germglish. But I have to write everyday in it so that is making it progress. Hopefully soon I will not be so shy to use my german skills. I miss everyone a lot and I hope everyone is ok. 3 | Kommentar

[11 May 2005|03:20pm] So I have been on summer vacation officially since Monday at noonish. Sadly it has yet to feel like it. All day (for the past few days) I have been running errands, getting all my shit together to leave on Saturday (oh yeah, I am not leaving a day early to go to Dallas). Before I leave I need to pack up most of my apartment too. Oh & to make my week even more stressful, the fucking travel agency misspelled my name on my ticket! Seriously. The lady told me it shouldn't be that big of a deal, but I believe it might be since I am on an international flight & my fucking name on the ticket doesn't match the name on the passport! My nights have been filled with sitting on the couch. I have yet to see any of my friends & to go get trashed at bars. I had thought about getting together a sort of going away thing, but alas, I have not. Maybe we could all go to the gay bar tomorrow night? That would be fun. I wish I didn't have to do anything else today & could just sit at home. I need to clean. But I also need to go the bank to get some Euro's, go by Armadillo Camera, I am doing some more work for Study Breaks magazine so I have to do that, but that gives me money. Oh yes. I believe we (me, Skot, & my current roommate Khim who actually doesn't live with me) have found a place to live. That is exciting news I do believe. But it is close to school which is great. Speaking of great, Skot just showed me a Hello Kitty bicycle which will be in my possession by the end of summer. 16 | Kommentar
